I am using Crafty v19.08 SE 2004 as a WinBoard v4.2.7 engine (with Zippy) on ICC. Everything was working fine with automatically posted seeks, etc. However, for no reason (apparent to me) it has stopped working. Now when I issue a match to the Crafty ICC account, Crafty will accept the match and the Winboard display starts but Crafty will not move (whether it plays as black or white). I can "force" Crafty to move using "Step/Type in Move" within Crafty's WinBoard interface but obviously that is not the goal. When I abort the game and check Crafty's log, Crafty had the next move selected, it was just never sent to WinBoard. I'm a novice user of Crafty and WinBoard so it may be an obvious problem but I've been unable to fix it. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
