Each game will contain positions where an engine "went horribly wrong." These positions can be examined to determine whether or not other engines would have problems with them too. Then the worst problem positions can be examined more closely with the engine(s) in some sort of "safe mode" or stepwise debugging analysis mode. Then the programming errors can be identified and corrected. Forget about the wins and losses! They are meaningless. IMHO. : ) Bob D.
