I started this stuff in 1968 because I enjoyed chess and thought that a computer playing chess would be neat. I have enjoyed it ever since, win lose or draw. So long as I enjoy it, I plan to continue doing it. It hasn't been about winning in at least 15 years. It is simply a great deal of fun for me... That's why I am still doing it after 35+ years. I suppose the "lack of fun" is why nobody else has stuck with it for that long.
