the danger is that the "commercial programs" fall into the blocked pawn
situation way too often on ICC.  It is a very fine line to walk, and I have
plans on fixing it.  Right now blocked pawns are simply bad for Crafty.  They
need to be bad for the side that is positionally better instead, so that g6 in
the above position will be a positive for crafty rather than a negative.  It
will be fixed before long.  I have already toned done the asymmetry a lot in the
king safety to make it play a bit more actively, this is just another needed
change.  (This change was in 19.9 late versions and 19.10, and is very recent.)
