ChessBase in describing the new 32 bit engine, quotes under the "Data Base Function" section. Quote, Speed strongly improved by 32 Bit ChessBase 7.0 access function. unquote. I dont know what ChessBase is saying here. I sent a e-mail to them and they promptly responded but I do not know if they understood my question. The statement seems to imply that if you run Fritz5.32 under the ChessBase 7.0 platform that the speed is improved verses the "stand alone" program by itself. Is this assumption correct ? and if so How much performance improvement ? They give a 20 game match result between the 16 and 32 bit engines which favours the new engine, but here again I do not know the relationship between chessbase 7.0 and Fritz's. Thanks in advance for help. Wayne
