Munjong, it is a bit sad, to follow your story. I think, I can imagine your pains. Did you play with Winboard? A possible useful tip for the next CCT. There is a FAQ inside the winboard distribution, that shows a sample batch file, which will automatically reconnect. This should avoid the typical disconnection problem after beeing idler for one hour. Possibly (depending on the details, how your account was setup) you can also set noautologout 1 which should avoid the disconnections, too. If this command does not work for you, I am almost certain, that an ICC administrator will be helpful, and make it work (at least for the time of CCT tournament). And, when you have to let run the engine unattended under Winboard or Xboard. Make sure to set it up with "zippy passwords" and tell those passwords to a trusted person. If anything goes wrong, that person might be able to fix it from remote. See you in Paderborn, Dieter
