I have seen the same problem with Shredder 8. I have found the problem is caused
by the Shredder 8 GUI. It seems to cause a problem with Shredder 8 from time to
time. Resulting in Shredder 8 not being able to use 100% CPU on it turn to move.

This may be your problem... When I started using the Deep Fritz 8 GUI I stopped
seeing this bug in Shredder 8 engine.
