The idea of "bluff" is very interesting not just for chess but for all games
which could be computerized. [Poker?]

The possibilities for bluffing in chess seems endless, ESPECIALLY when engines
are set to play human-like chess at amateur levels.

How, do you suppose, would a game program be made to do this? Could it be
controlled in the sense of adjusting frequency of occurrence or amount of risk
assumed? The program could be programmed to bluff at an amateur level or be a
"master bluffer."

My gut feel is that this is an area where much new is possible. Maybe it is a
new frontier. Bluffing is a very good thing in many types of games.
