Something struck me... There will always be a bargain position as long as
one can upgrade from CADOS without having to send in the CADOS disks.

Let's say that upgrade from CA3 to CA4 is free, but you still have to
send in the CA3 CD. If I own the CADOS disks I can still sell my CA3 CD
for 133$. Both I and the buyer of the CA3 CD will gain 30$ out of this...

Seems like the problem for CA is that CADOS owners can keep their disks!?
If they have to send in the old disks they can either send them in and pay
the lower price 103$ or they can keep the CADOS disks and buy the new CA4
for 163$. That is, you have a choice whether you wanr to keep the CADOS disks
or not.

As CA4 now seems to have all the good features of CADOS this might be the
right thing to do for Chess Assistant!?

Another way to put it is: CA should have one upgrade version and one
original version of CA4. This seems not to be the case...
