No, I don't think so. Perhaps you missed it? Perhaps Phalanx does not log it?
Start WB with -debug and have a look at winboard.debug. As I said in my message,
also Yace receives the computer command reliably from Winboard (Yace ignores it
practically - it only uses it to possible switch from whisper to kibitz when
playing on ICS).

I see your smiley, but why? It seems computer in crafty.rc is useless (unless
you play with Crafty in console mode, and know exactly what you are doing). A
command like

assume_my_opponent_is_a_computer_until_I_tell_you_something_else 1

seems to be more useful.
