Yes, it did occur to me too.  But did not help either.  I even lowered the
security level in IE, on top of deleting the temp files.  Something's the
matter, may be my browser settings or even my PC-Cillin antivirus prog.  Will
try to install Mozilla and set it up as the default browser.
