Subject: GromitChess [Home Page] update

Hi all,

the GromitChess Home Page has been updated, see
http://home.t-online.de/home/hobblefrank/
There you find the new Linux-version, the new readme.txt, new testresults
and the used testsuites.

An updated version of GromitChess 2.0 for Windows will soon be available at
Gambitsoft and on Djordje Vidanovics chesspage, see the links on the GromitChess
Home Page.
Changes are mainly small changes to the evaluation, bugfixes and optimizations.
In XBoard-mode Gromit now offers draw if material is low and resigns if the
position
is too bad (both makes engine-engine matches easier).

Please note that you need the CygWin-DLL (cygwinb19.dll, see
http://www.cygnus.com)
if you use Windows. The new version (CygWin B20) wasn't used since the new
compiler (now egcs instead of gcc) generates bad code when optimizing.

A big openingbook can be found on Djordje Vidanovic's site, but you can also
use Gromit 1.2s book (opening.boo, see the Gambitsoft-pages).

Frank
