I have no idea if your code is right, but it surely is ambitious! You get an "A" for that. My only suggestion is to make that history class work as closely as possible to actually having the update/restore code right in the MakeMove and UnMakeMove functions. If you can write that much code without stopping to incrementally debug it, you are either damn smart, or have a dump truck full of patience, or both. Best wishes, David
