Think about this. How many people that DO NOT currently buy chess programs are
going to see "Fritz 9 beats Peter Svidler at Fischer random chess" and then buy
the program because of that? I think the number will be very, very small. People
will buy it, but not a lot more than the number of people who already buy chess
programs.

In other words, how many people do you think are out there that are holding out
for a program that supports FRC before they will buy a chess program? There
might be some, but I could probably count them on both of my hands.

Most people would read that and first think, "What is Fischer random chess?"
Second, they're probably going to think, "Who is Peter Svidler?" You have to
realize that unlike you, the vast majority of people don't follow chess, don't
buy chess programs, don't know what Fischer random chess is, and don't even know
the rules of regular chess in the first place. It wouldn't suprise me if less
than 50% could even name one chess piece. Even if they could, that's a far cry
from buying a chess program because it supports Fischer random chess and beat
Peter Svidler.
