If you're already there for the conference (which is an academic endeavour -- so presumably it would be acceptable to your employer?) then the incremental time to participate in the tournament is small. I suppose you've "been there, done that" many times before, so it may not appeal to you. I have to say that I really enjoyed attending ACG-10 and, by extension, the last WCCC, in Graz last November. I was hardly a special case: the U of Alberta sent at least five professors, plus more graduate students than can be counted on two hands. Therefore, it puzzles me that it's difficult for you to make arrangements to attend. Congratulations on Crafty's performance at CCT-6! Dave
