I just tried compiling with the futility option for you but it appears the Intel
compiler doesn't like it. I'm using version 5.0.1 because it is faster than the
others on AMD cpus. Here is the message I get when I try to compile with
-DFUTILITY

C/C++: Internal compiler error: please report to Intel (IP=0x0082afc1, addr=0x00
000035)
compilation aborted for x2.c (code 1)
NMAKE : fatal error U1077: 'icl' : return code '0x1'
Stop.
