There is no such thing like different analysis quality of different processors, it is only the speed which matters. But in facc, AMD Processors are better for chess (this means faster, calculating faster,) than Intel. The fastest Single-Processor for chess right now is the AMD 64 4300+ or the AMD FX-51, which clock at 2.2 Ghz but are faster for chess than Intel P4 3.4 Ghz. If you are looking for a laptop on the other hand the Intel Pentium M (Centrino) is a very good processor for chess (this means fast) and almost as fast as the AMD 64 Mobile 3200+.
