Hi The interesting point here is that Shredder has a absolut linearity in kN/s on an Athlon. The only thing that matters is MHz, the FSB is not needed and the "Shreddermark" sucks! :-) Bye Ingo >Instructions on how to run this particular test is at the bottom of the message. > >438.10kn/s @ 1:08 = Athlon XP 1.73 @ 2.5GHz, 218fsb(436DDR) >391.98kn/s @ 1:16 = Athlon XP 2800+ (2.25GHz) 166fsb/333ddr >363.30kn/s @ 1:22 = Athlon XP 2600+ (2.13GHz) 133fsb/266ddr >342.42kn/s @ 1:27 = Athlon XP 2400+ (2.00GHz) 133fsb/266ddr >300.91kn/s @ 1:39 = Athlon XP 2100+ (1.73GHz) 133fsb/266ddr >281.05kn/s @ 1:46 = Athlon XP 1900+ (1.60GHz) 133fsb/266ddr >263.63kn/s @ 1:53 = Athlon XP 1700+ (1.47GHz) 133fsb/266ddr >238.32kn/s @ 2:05 = Athlon XP 1500+ (1.33GHz) 133fsb/266ddr >205.45kn/s @ 2:25 = Athlon Thunderbird 1.2GHz 133fsb/133sdr >178.38kn/s @ 2:47 = Duron 1.0GHz 200fsb/400ddr >173.20kn/s @ 2:52 = Athlon Thunderbird 1.0GHz 133fsb/133sdr > >Instructions on how to run the test are at these two threads: >http://www.talkchess.com/forums/1/message.html?348509 >http://www.talkchess.com/forums/1/message.html?348512 > >More details: >The Athlon XP system used an Epox 8RDA (Nforce2) motherboard. >The Duron is an overclocked 600MHz chip to 1GHz, 200/400fsb on an Epox 8K5A2 >(KT333). >The Thunderbird box is an old Abit KT7a board with the KT133a chipset using >PC133.
