I set-up the same game for analysis on two different computers both with F8.
One a P3 1.2Ghz 64mb ram Compaq laptop. At depth 14/52 ....1 f6xe5
2 Nd7xe6
3 Qc6-c7
The second an Athlon XP 2800+ 2.08 Ghz 64mb ram. At depth 14/52...1 Qc6-c7
2 f6xe5
3 Nd7xe5
From the begining both favoured the same three moves but not in the same
order! The P3 chose 1. f6xe5 from the begining and did not change.
After 14/52 the Athlon started to concider 1.f6xe5 I then ended the
analysis.
Since it's F8 on both computers the analysis should be exactly the same for
both no?
The reason I did this was to see how much faster the Athlon was compared to
the P3.
