Subject: another linux question

Hi All.
I have SUSE linux9pro for AMD_64 running on my new opteron system now.
I added an IDE drive for this purpose as the standard install wont see SATA
drives--at least mine.
My question concerns using GRUB to see my SATA drive (this is the drive which
boots on WinXP-Pro )so that I can have startup choices without rigging the
system bios flash settings in favor of the SATA drive and windows (and using a
dvd to start the linux bootstrap).
Any suggestions?
