Hi all, Pardon an ignorant newbie asking a dumb question, but I'm having trouble collecting the PV in my new engine. It returns an eval fine, but not the moves. The code for my alpha-beta function is at http://www.lechess.com/pv.txt and it's based on Bruce Moreland's pv-collecting alpha-beta algorithm (http://www.seanet.com/~brucemo/topics/pv.htm). My code is written in vb.net, but it should be relatively easy to read. This recursive stuff is pretty hard for me, and I don't understand what he's doing with his lines. Any pointers (pardon the pun)?
