Don't forget you can mirror the position in multiple ways.

top <-> bottom
left <-> right

In fact, if you want you can mirror top to bottom *and* then left to
right to really put your evaluation routine through the wringer.
The only caveat, is that you will probably see differences in some
of the evaluation scores because of things like different
kingside/queenside castling bonus/penalties, D-pawn isolani
evaluation etc.  Still it's very useful for catching odd bugs,
especially if you use separate black/white evaluation routines.
