No one of the contestants stated that this tournament is relevant for SSDF or whatever. It is just fun for the persons who go there and they try to win the tournament with the hardware and software they own. This is never meant as a test which program is the best, which is clearly obvious because there is never enough statistical data from such a tournament to decide such a thing. Obviously better program/hardware combinations have better chances to win, but that need not happen at all! Just sit down, relax, have a look at the games and if there was a fine move, enjoy it and probably try to find out if your program(s) also find it. Probably there is some nice to spot ...
