It is the first patch,
Version 1.0.1 addresses the following issues:

The computer opponents now more accurately determine the amount of time that
they have to think about their moves when using Fischer time controls.
Several cosmetic fixes and clarifications to tutorials.
Corrected various palette errors, especially when switching between Chessmaster
6000 and another application in 256-color mode.
Fixed a bug involving not being able to select the last item in a list box.
Fixed a bug which would display the "Stop Viewing Game" context menu item when a
user was not connected online.
Fixed a bug involving asking for Natural Language Advice after the game was
over. The "Move" button was visible in the Natural Language Advice window, and
pressing this button would cause random behavior.
General improvements to some interface elements.
