I seem to recall that researchers in europe have performed P.E.T. scans on
gifted chess players. their work resulted in a generalized idea of what parts of
the brain these players used the most in contrast to other players. (
incidentally a pet scan shows where sugar is consumed in the brain in real time)
i do not know the advantage of testing a chess player in particular for an
involuntary response to a crime scene. i also cannot understand where the man
who coined the phrase 'brain fingerprinting' learned anatomy nor english.
If I had my fingers in someones brain, as an example, these phalanx would have
penetated via the ocular orbits of the cranium- very messy indeed and nothing
left to test I am afraid.
