I seem to recall that researchers in europe have performed P.E.T. scans on gifted chess players. their work resulted in a generalized idea of what parts of the brain these players used the most in contrast to other players. ( incidentally a pet scan shows where sugar is consumed in the brain in real time) i do not know the advantage of testing a chess player in particular for an involuntary response to a crime scene. i also cannot understand where the man who coined the phrase 'brain fingerprinting' learned anatomy nor english. If I had my fingers in someones brain, as an example, these phalanx would have penetated via the ocular orbits of the cranium- very messy indeed and nothing left to test I am afraid.
