I like AMD processors, I have on Athlon XP 2700+.
However I don't see INTEL losing anything, on the contrary it will regain the
position it had by pushing AMD back to where it was.
Dell for example has been crying for INTEL 64bit chips similar to
Opterons/Athlon64, with this in mind I guess DELL will wait a bit longer for
INTEL 64bit chips. INTEL has the luxury/habillity of making some mistakes and
immediately recover from them and taking the leading position again. I fear AMD
will take in the short term its previous position of trailing INTEL, to my
disapointment. INTEL simply has many resources.
