I suggest that you put the following position in order to use evaluation at
depth 1 to detect the real evaluation
3rr1kB/pp3q1p/2p2pp1/8/2PP4/3B1Q2/PBN2PPP/6K1 b - - 0 1

The advantages are:
1)The position is legal
2)Black is not in check so there is no reason for check extension in the first
move to get 2 plies in the first iteration.
3)The move Kxh8 is not the only legal move so the program is forced to search it
and cannot play the only legal move without doing evaluation.
