Hi Andrew, > Just a thought....no offense to anyone here at all, but...would it be > possible to post ratings with the engines giving the solutions? I mean, when you have a position with a wide range of evals, it > would be nice to know what the stronger engines said. <shrug>, I'm just > thinking out loud. well... what rating ? ICC Bullet, Blitz, Standard ? FICS Bullet, Blitz, Standard ? WBEC Rating ? SSDF Rating ??? Personal Rating ??? And of course I think you can not say that quality of static eval is sometimes somewhat independant of the final rating of the engine. E.g. it may slow down the engine to much, it's search is not as good etc... a comparisson of static eval is anyway VERY interesting to me -> but it takes a bit longer for me to present the results, because I want to program a command for Quark to do it automated. Maybe even something like epd2wb is possible for this, maybe called fen2staticeval ? Greets, Thomas
