You know that the Shredder opening book is not compatible to other GUIs. I played with my farovrite GUI Arena because Arena have the most and most interesting engnine test options. Furthermore, my Notebook have Hyperthreading too. Here I play with ponder = off and Hyperthreading on! On my dual ... the second test machine ... I played with hyperthreading = off! I will give Shredder 8.0 the full power (ht-on with ponder = off) because Shredder need it vs. Ruffian 2.0.2! Do you have any other questions, please! Best Frank
