Hi Thomas,

my Shredder 8 opening book (Shredder8.ctg) does list 1...g6 as a potential reply
to 1.d4 with 5263 lines stemming from it and assigns the !? flag to this move.
I believe that the principal move here for Shredder is 1...Nf6 most of the time,
but, hey, it is quite possible that book learning has steered Shredder 8 into
trying 1...g6, right? About HT, that is surely hyper-threading, but I see no
sense in using it with permanent brain on. Frank, come on, bear in mind that
your new dual cannot cope with the threads you're imposing on it, although I
must admit they look impressive from the user's point of view :-)
