And what time control exactly did you set up in Fritz 8 GUI? The Fritz GUI doesn't have (or i didn't find it) 40 moves in 40 minutes repeating. It has 40 moves in 40 minutes + 40 moves in 40 minutes + 40 minutes for the rest of the game. 40 moves in 40 minutes, then 40 moves in 40 minutes, then all entries zero for the third time control. This leads to 40 moves in 40 minutes repeating over and over.
