I'm doing this because I enjoy it myself and also because of the curiosity generated by comments here about ChessMaster. Since it is not on the SSDF list some people may have gotten the impression that it was not worthy of being there. I'm sure it's because of the limited resources of the SSDF that they don't have time to include it. I'm running into time trouble myself now so I will have to slow down till after the new year (Maybe). In my opinion it has a great balance of tactics and position. I've even seen some comments concerning the GUI which I don't understand. I can set it up to look very similiar to Rebel 10 if I want and the black/white staunton chess pieces are photo realistic. They don't look like some kindergarden hand drawing which the Rebel 10 pieces look like. My complaint is that when I set the size of the board to about 7 inches square the pieces stay the same size and look too small for the larger board. Enjoy ! Jim Walker
