You can find the games, log files and so on in Arena Event Forum (in my messages is a donwload file). Arena Event Forum: http://f27.parsimony.net/forum67213/ Oh, and all this in English? I need the complete day to write about it. Furthermore, I am not interesting to install the GUI again. Shredder GUI is great but here I missed to many important options! If Arena is not existend I am sure I play my matches with my older love ... WinBoard! >>Do you have any other questions, please! >I have one. >How about repeating this game in reverse, since there are a number of book moves >Shredder sees as a ? in it's own book and replay it from where Shredder 8 first >played a non book move 11...Qd7 where it sees itself as being -0.75. > >Sarah. Under Arena I cann't used a Shredder opening book. So I used the book from Andreas Runge, can be found on Arena webpages (user file selection). With this book Shredder 8.0 killed Ruffian 2.1.0 with 28.5 : 11.5 (see Arena Event Forum). But Ruffian 2.0.2 seems to win the 40 games match on two system vs. Shredder 8.0. Not interesting is the book question Sarah, interesting for me at the moment ... Which Ruffian is stronger and it seems that Ruffian 2.0.2 is a monster. Much more interesting as boring book questions! Normaly I played my test games with PGN Random (you know this Arena options, you cann't find such an options in other GUIs and I believe you don't know what I mean) :-)) Best Frank
