I noted that Ruffian 2.00 (or its update) is now offered at 30 Euros. A Scid cleaned and organised database CD-ROM from the Scid author is equivalent to ~ 17 Euros donation and the Scid program is free. Then, it comes convenient to use this combination as is the Scid program, the database and the strong engine. One thing, I do not understand why the SCID author does not create the possibility to load UCI engines also. Is that so difficult? I cannot say. Regards Anton
