Maybe but getting tired is one of the weaknesses of humans.

I think that it is depended on the player.
some GM's may improve from experience.

For example I know that GM yona kossasvili works as a doctor of medicine.
If he leave his job for one year to play chess then he may improve thanks to
learning from experience.

When the target is to get better result than humans opponents we are going to
see if the claim of the fatique element is really relevant.

I do not have time to play 200 days in a year when I do not get money but I
suspect that my level will improve if I get money for playing 4 days in a week
and get more money for better results.

I believe that the same is correct for part of the GM's.
