I would say that you WERE playing against a computer. Looking through the game,
I think that these moves are suspect when looking for "non-human" moves:
-- 35.Rb1 followed by 36.Rc1
-- The attempted repetition of positions from 42.Qe2 through 44.Qe2. I would
suspect that most computers will evaluate White as losing here, and would
happily take the draw.
-- 49.Reg3
-- And the dead giveway, IMO, is 73.Bf3. Any human that is strong enough to beat
Shredder would happily trade queens when up by 3 points of material.
And, finally, I have a VERY strong suspicion that the White player was using
some Chessmaster personality. I was able to easily duplicate all but just TWO
moves using the default chessmaster personality at the game's time control, and
that includes the book moves. The only moves that were questionable (on my
P4-2.4) were:
-- 29.h4 (only keeps this move from between 2 and 15 seconds, then switches to
Bf3 and then Rd3 by 20 seconds)
-- 49.Reg3 (takes 49 seconds)
The best circumstancial evidence of all, of course, for choosing The King as the
opponent engine is that Chessmaster is the most popular chess program in the
world. So, I would say that the evidence stacks up very well against your
opponent (and very well FOR The King! :-).
