To all of you who are concerned for my computer's welfare, it is very much appreciated. :-) Just to make sure, though, I downloaded and ran AVG, and everything checked out fine. No viruses. I'm going to tempt fate here and say that I'm not very concerned about viruses. Both my wife and I are computer professionals, we have no children, and the cat has not yet learned how to use the computer. We know not to open e-mail attachments from addresses we don't recognize, and know how to set up our e-mail clients so that they don't do that automatically. We know not to go willy-nilly to any website that we've never been to before. We know something fishy when we see it. Of course, yes, somebody we KNOW might send us a virus, but it hasn't happened yet.... However, we ARE concerned about spyware, as even perfectly "harmless" and "benevolent" sites will still install spyware of various nastiness levels. That is why I regularly run "Spybot - Search & Destroy", which you can get at: http://www.safer-networking.org/index.php It's a great program, takes only a couple of minutes to run through your entire computer. You'll be surprised at all the stuff it finds.... jm
