If you wanted to add a new faster processor, you would also have to put in a new
motherboard.

It is very easy to do simply buy a motherboard combos from Pricewatch:
http://www.pricewatch.com

Click Motherboard combos and you can buy an Athlon AMD XP 2700+ 333 with CPU and
fan, for less than $130.00. Simply follow the intructions that comes with the
Manual.
