Bug in quatation mark, because it does not affect the playing strength of Shredder, since the first move is always correct. The other moves are form the Hashtables and therefore not reliable. This looks sometimes really ugly, when Shredder gives away its queen in the PV for nothing, but one get used to it ;-) The alternative is either to cut the PV at the move where it starts to be unreliable but then sometomes the PV is only one move (like Fritz for example) or to update the PV (but this costs Processortime and therfore reduces the playing strenght). It seem that Stefan Meyer-Kahlen does not like either option. regards Joachim
