Figuratively, of course. This is just a fun club (within a club), organized to promote recognition of its members, and to spark a little competition and interest. Ultimately, I hope it will allow us to share to a greater degree in the development process, so that all can benefit. Maybe even a new idea or two! Yes, I know ratings will fluctuate, and that time controls and selection of opponents do influence the rating. It's all part of the rating game, and everyone plays it. And nothing's secret. And so when I say that so-and-so did well by gaining 26 points, I'm just having a bit of fun. Now, if that same fellow gains 26 points every week, well, that's something else. Caution, there's a bit of humor here. Just think MST 3000; that's the picture. Will (permanent chairperson, Under 2600 Club)
