Well, much has happened since my last post (only last night? wow) First, I realized I wasn't doing ANY move ordering in quiescence. Sigh. That made a huge difference, of course. I also disabled the hash tables for now in an effort to make sure that what I'm running is bug-free before expanding too much. After I (finally) finished my winboard support, I went back and tried what Andrew suggested, calculating my move order percentage. To my horror, I was only getting about 50%! So, I'm currently working on that. Found one small bug, and am currently tracking down another. Much thanks to Riverman on ICC (not sure who he is on here) for his help so far. I'll let you all know what's going on after I find this stupid en passant bug.
