I have often seen update versions not beeing better.
maybe due to a bug. maybe due to other things.

i remember that this happens from time to time with famous programs too.

normally versions are tested. but it happens that a version is tested wrong.
and then you get wrong results.
and therefore we need MANY different people testing with DIFFERENT methods.
otherwise you fall in the trap.
