Hi Derek I haven't yet tried your setting, i'll make it later because i haven't so much time these days. Unfortunately, i couldn't update my homepage always because of luck of time, but i have some good news for the Shredder lovers. I already succeed in finding much much better setting for Shredder in Blitz and rapid Time Controls, and this is prooved over 1000 games (more than 500 games for each engine). I have also another "bad" news for you. A friend tried to make a match between Shredder_Default and one of my new settings. Although this setting scored clearly better than the default setting against the other engines, he lost by 10.5 vs 5.5 in a little 16 games match. I'm still beliving that matches between different settings of the same engine is interesting, but this could give as sometimes surprises. But no definitive conclusion could be made because of the little number of played games, but also because of biases due to the choice of the opening !!! Hope omeone or time to update my homepage sothat many chess funs could benefit from my findings.
