Hmmm ... using engines was supposed to be easier than writing them ;) If each part does its job properly though, it should still work fine in the end ... BookThinker is supposed to send its moves to the engine as well (in force mode), which should then be able to count moves correctly. I will check with the specs anyway. When you connect BookThinker to a WB engine, does the problem occur as well? Could you obtain log files for me (just a few moves, ideally between BookThinker and the engine)? Fabien.
