has to preserve the particular style of the engine. For instance, after 1.e4 e6,
I'd think 2.d4 is best, yet this doesn't look a "postmodern" move. Probably
2.d3, or even 2.Qe2 a la Chigorin, would be acceptable.

 Concerning the Dragon, a petty line of mine, I don't call it an hypermodern
opening either.
