Yeah I really like Scid's tablebase interface, not surprising as I wrote it
to do what I want... :-)

Scid only supports 5-man tablebases right now; but it should be simple to fix
that. In the source package, the tablebase code is in src/egtb folder e.g.
src/egtb/tbindex.cpp and src/egtb/tbdecode.c.
Upgrading to 6-man support should just require replacing the source in that
folder and a bit of Makefile tweaking. Then, if you want to see summary info
for 6-man tablebases in Scid the interface code would need some additions.
I'll look into it sometime when not so busy. With only a 56K modem
connection, I have little need for 6-man tablebase support myself...
