That is pure bullshit.

Automatic protocols work _perfectly_.  Some interfaces might well suck, but that
is not my problem.  Xboard works _perfectly_.  As does other xboard-compatible
interfaces.  At the last CCT, we had 50+ entries, _zero_ problems.  For seven
rounds + playoff games.

automatic can work just fine, if you want it to.  Or if all you want to do is
find excuses why it can't work, then it will never work...
