During the 15th World Microcomputer Chess Championship in Paris (October 1997)
"DarkThought" peaked at over 1 million nodes per second for several positions
of the test set "Encyclopedia of Chess Endgames 3" (ECE3) while running on a
cooled 767MHz DEC/Kryotech Alpha-21164a.
