I know you does not expect this comment, but if I was you I would do nothing to promote chess afection in Karin. If she results to be talented for chess, it may comes she will invest too much time into that and chess, after all, no matter how much we like or love it, is a very unuseful and even destructive way of using grey matter. Put her to read more and more stuff, that's a lot better and useful, a way to widen the mind instead of narrowing it, as chess do. Not by chance most -not all- GM are real idiots and ignorants beyond the realm of the board. Just my cent Fernando
