Subject: I can't get shredder 7 to work

I've just bought shredder 7 and installed it, everything works fine until i get
to the screen where you choose between playing shredder or going to
playchess.com at program startup. When I choose "Play Shredder" it crashes, I've
tried reinstalling several times, doesn't help. I got the exact same problem
when i tried installing at my dad's computer. But the cd is not corrupt since it
worked at my friends computer.
Anyone who knows how to fix this? I am running windows xp.
